To all of our Kalypso Academy families, it is my great pleasure to announce that our English department has been working with me to coordinate a fun event. Our students have recently finished a unit on the book "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, and we've decided to test their understanding of the book's material by organizing the first ever academy Lock-In party! On Friday night at 8PM, all students will be locked in the academy gymnasium and kept overnight for a night of games and snacks based on the book. The doors will not open until 10AM on Saturday morning.
